I had remarked that I was surprised that the Bamster hadn't horned into the Oscar telecast with a personal interview before the show started.

I couldn’t flip the channel quick enough, I am disgusted that anyone would think this was a necessary addition to the Oscars. Who the he** decides this crap?
Only other slight I heard was Seth’s into of Dan Radcliff and Kristen Stewart and the remark about their characters being what the ‘Christian right’ fears, or some such garbage. Funny, Kristen looked like she would have preferred to be anywhere but on that stage.

The POSOTUS is always late for every appearance, so naturally the Wide Load extends an already way overrun Oscars by by an additional 15 minutes.

Oh My God: The Academy actually drafts First Lady Michelle Obama to help present Best Picture from presumably the White House? So unnecessary and inappropriate to inject politics into the Oscars yet again. Hollywood will get pilloried by conservative pundits tomorrow. I don’t understand this very obvious attempt to turn off right-leaning audiences. Clearly the studios only want to sell their movies to half of America.
Can’t they afford a razor for her or those treatments that remove facial hair? And what was with the fawning military servicemembers behind her?
In my mind, Ted had more substance when he was announcing Oscar winners with Wahlberg, than Michelle.

Oh and another thing - surrounding herself with military types in their dress blues - as though ‘rats in general and this administration in particular don’t have anything buy contempt for the military - even more nauseaing......
The Oscars has become a calvalcade of strange, disconnected, insular and revolting creatures.

This is Hollyweird. They have actors there, you know. Folks whose business is dressing up in costumes and presenting themselves to the public as something other than what they really are.
