I had remarked that I was surprised that the Bamster hadn't horned into the Oscar telecast with a personal interview before the show started.

A collective groan went up from my wife, daughter and me when it was announced that yes, again, and at the very end, one of the Obamas was granted a cameo appearance, for no logical reason, to be part of the Academy Awards show. It was probably common knowledge at the WH that they didn’t have anything to worry about WHAT would get the Best Picture award, which went to the “safer” ARGO, than the longshot ZERO DARK THIRTY, which got virtually frozen out.ZDT would’ve proved to be a bit of a problem for Mooshy to announce, had it won. It had already earned the oppobrium of the political elites on both sides of the aisle.

Its our own little version of Venezuela as the elite must put on a phony image as the realities of the Age of Austerity sink into people’s lives.
The cost of health insurance skyrocking, the cost of food rising at least 15 percent every year, the constant pressure from creditors leading to more taxes or “cuts” coming out of Washington.
The economy is not improving or is it going to improve if present trends continue.
Obama and the RINO’s intend to do nothing to solve the mess but will instead stir our emotions and feelings with wedge issues to draw us into their camps.
WE NEED AN PLAN TO QUICKLY BALANCE THE BUDGET THAT WILL HOPEFULLY SAVE US FROM RUIN. A PLAN THAT SIMPLY CUTS SPENDING AND DOES NOT RAISE TAXES IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.
WE CAN’T CAUSE ANY MORE ECONOMIC DAMAGE WITH HIGHER TAXES.
THE SPENDING BEYOND OUR MEANS MUST END IMMEDIATELY AND NEITHER POLITICAL PARTY IS WILLING TO DO ANYTHING THAT WILL REALLY END THE SPENDING.
SO I KEEP ON SAYING LETS AT LEAST THINK ABOUT A THIRD PARTY THAT WILL STAND FOR SOME KIND OF AUTHENTIC ACTION TO FIRMLY AND LITERALLY BALANCE THE BUDGET.
That's the only way I "watch" any of these award shows.
I go to Deadline and read her "snarks".

It is a stark contrast of how to manage an emergency at the Embassy to what happened in Libya. Finished certainly before October of last year. Its release was surely as disappointing to all as wheels up to an Iranian Republican Guard.
Too bad, all (libs, incl. Mooch, Affleck, Clooney, libs I saw the movie with last night in the hipppie movie house who packed the theater and ran out at the end, et al. ) Great story, music, editing & acting. Live with it.

She was apparently at some formal function in the White House being beamed in live to the Oscars. The military people behind her were in various military branches' dress mess uniforms, the highest level of formality, which would be expected for a White House affair.
Well, if the people they continually insult weren’t such idiots to keep empowering their liberal rants and propaganda with hard earned cash, there wouldn’t be half this crap in the first place. Because there would be far less propagandists working in Hollywood. No one ever died from a lack of television/movies. Ever.
It reminds me of the people who say things like “If only the Republicans had stuck together, I don’t care who, and voted a Republican in. Now we are in this crap.”... and don’t realize that because they don’t ‘care who’ the Republicans run, they get the spineless things we now have giving up everything to the libs.
We did and continue to do this to ourselves through our own excuse-making. Now we have to pay for it. Hopefully if there is another election, the collective ‘we’ won’t make the same stupid mistakes.
How many tax dollars did it cost to pull that off?
