I had remarked that I was surprised that the Bamster hadn't horned into the Oscar telecast with a personal interview before the show started.
Which is why I told my wife we had to buck up and vote for Juan McCain. Think how infinitely preferable he would have been...
‘_____Grinning ASSES behind her.’
Gay or not - notice no blacks this time?
The O’Bambams detest the military, Meshell O’Bigmouthmama features military families as her main cause/charity, and she has them planted behind her like that last night.
Someone is seriously trying too hard, and it’s so obviously phoney. Who is the left trying to convince???
By showcasing the military, they do succeed in annoying the Right.. . .
If I were one of those military members last night, I would have erupted with a temperature, and bowed out from having to prop up MO.

I have 2 schools of thought...
1. In business there comes a point where you can only charge so much for your good or service because someone else will do it cheaper (& not necessarily better).
There will come a time where people physically can’t pay anymore taxes, hidden or overt. Hence the gov’t will not only be broke but have no revenues coming in because their policies have but business’ out business = no jobs = no income = no income tax $. So we either wake up those around us, stop complaining & take action (the addage actions speak louder than words comes to mind).
2. I went to a speaking engagement in the early 90’s to hear Walter Williams, economics professor @ Geo Mason Univ.
He spoke of “The Grroup of 50” (first time I’d heard of this) the idea was that once the deficit hit 3T $, this group would get into action recalling our govt and returning to the Constitution of 1787. Basically a reset. I’ve not heard more about it and we are WAAAAYYY past 3T deficit.
The Oscars or duck dynasty reruns...Hey, no question what I was watching Jack!
Bet the thought Django was gonna win.
If you watched the Oscars you got all that was deserved and have zero right to complain about the ‘expected, unexpected’!
Moochelle looks awful in that photo. Those bangs are horrible on her. I think she thinks she looks younger, but she just looks ugly.
Not at all...conservatives will continue to graze on the entertainment plantation.
I hate to tell you this...
Can you imagine Hillary being beat for the 2016 Dem nomination by ANOTHER Obama?
The Chicago Investors want to maximize their return, so the longer any Obama inhabits the White House the more money and power they amass.
Imagine the Dems in '16 voting for not only the first female President, but the first BLACK female President.
I just got a tingle up my leg.....
That’s what you get when you made the mistake of tuning in to watch the Hollywood Freak Show. I have no sympathy for you all...
It is genuinely hard for me to believe any of the kinds of quality Americans and other "periscopes up into reality" who regularly read and occasionally contribute to FreeRepublic would settle down in front of a television and deliberately watch the Academy Awards presentation program.
I'm amazed, frankly. Without trying to "one-up" anyone... really, I can't remember the last time I watched that torture, but not ever in this century at least. What did any of you who deliberately volunteered to become a part of the audience sold to the telecast's advertisers expect to see?
What was the "draw," I guess is my question? I remember watching it, with interest, and I am still a bona fide connoisseur of the art of motion pictures, but the "meat parade" (as George C. Scott referred to it, when he refused the Best Actor award) broadcast has been too offensive a spectacle for responsible American citizens to have to sit through at least since "America Beauty" was declared Best Picture, and probably since Marlon Brando sent "Little Feather" to accept his own Oscar forty years ago.
How do you stand it, especially if you knew ahead of time that Christianity in particular and Conservative American politics (and by extension yourselves) were certain to be insulted?
I love the movies, really. Going back to the distant silents even to the present day true independents, when the combination of true skill in production produces sometimes timeless... sometimes breathtaking art, of every kind. But the "Academy" and the Hollywood "community" is more decadent than the Court of Caligula. And it's not news that it became this way decades ago, and more.
The title of this thread is what drew me, obviously because I was curious to read just how the Obamas "ruined" the Oscars last night, happier and healthier for having found what I believed to be a better use of my time.
But also, I was curious to see how the ruin of something already ruined could be made worse. Are there degrees of ruination?
I have thought for a long time that they are going to run Michelle Obama out next... and I think we are in for a MAJOR cat fight. :) Hillary is going to start floating the stories that Baarak is gay. I am not sure yet- if the people are going to love him more, for his open sexuality or less... but I predict Baarak is going to come out of the closet in the next two years, to his “wife” a chance to run.
We are being told how much we love and admire Michelle.. so I know they are up to something. I hope they all get ruined, in an attempt to kill each other off, to tell you the truth.
Easy solution. Don’t watch that lib fest.
An author, Jeremy Robinson has a series of novels of earth after a massive tectonic plate occurrence portrays how the Nephilim survived Noahs flood and took refuge in Antarctica planning to eventually take over the human race by dna crossbreeding, those that had Nephilim blood hated humans, were often tall or heavy built and had certain powers.
In a way its a bit of a stretch but one could consider The First Wookie as a Nephilim progeny?
Well, neither one of them ruined the Daytona 500 yesterday. That’s a plus.
