On reviewing the video I see that the shot through the wall was higher than waist level, about shoulder or head level.

In an earlier thread here about the Inkster incident there was some question about whether that's really an AR-15. I have a pistol and used a rifle in the military decades ago, but don't keep up on such things. I have no way of knowing myself. You said "AR type" in your post here. Maybe that's what it is rather than an AR-15.

Don’t know about self defense, but, I went to a wedding the other day and the Bride used an AR-15 on a Piano.

Of course, other guests were shooting shotguns, hand guns, and a rifle at the piano also.

I hear they burned the thing later and burried it.
