>And Corgis.
LOL<

Nope, nuh-uh. The Pembroke & Cardigan are very, very different in genetics. “Corgi” is not indicative that you simply dock the tail on one, but not the other.

From the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America:

“WHAT ABOUT THE EARLY BEGINNINGS OF THE TWO CORGIS?
Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh Corgis are of different origins. Pembroke Corgis come from the same lines as Terriers, Spitz and Schipperkes and became popular due to the Queen’s influence.

Cardigans are an older, rarer breed, coming from the same heritage as the Tekdal dogs, such as the Dachshund. They remained in the hands of the old farmers and breeders, who continued to breed them selectively for the purpose of herding and family companions. The Cardigan temperament is more like a Collie or a well-bred German Shepherd Dog. Temperament and trainability are of the utmost importance.”

"If I were you I’d tweet your story to Ken Wahl on twitter and ask him to RT it. It would be seen by thousands of rescue-minded animal lovers."

Mark Levin is a big-time dog lover. Maybe he can bring it up what happened to you and maybe find a way to track your pups.

He talks about his dog Barney sometimes. He talks about the 3 dogs he had who died; two of them in the same year I think.

Try Mark Levin.com. He even has a section on dogs!

He loves dogs, is an attorney with a national radio program - maybe he has resources that could help.

Oh my gosh, it jumped right in his lap huh?

Glad that all worked out good and hope he got some venison out of the deal!

With the bear, CalTrans drug it out to the woods, but we did collect a couple of teeth that got knocked out when he was hit at 60mph.

"They’re very nice charming dogs but you have to accept that the gene that causes hairlessness also affects dentition."

I have heard that, too. How do they eat? Just gum it?

Heard that a Powderpuff in the litter is to keep the other dogs warm. Wha..?

I guess they need sunscreen, too.

They look goofy. Are they goofy, too? I hope because I would like to add a third dog to our "family".

Mr. hummingbird not too keen on the Cresteds; but I'm not all that interested in slobbering Bulldogs!

Guess we'll have to find a neutral breed we can both agree on.

Thanks for the link, Salamander!

I don't know why I'm so interested in the Crested.

I wonder if there is a breed shelter for the CC's.

Hmmmmm.........

The picture in that link - that CC is stylin' with the hairdo!

"I believe Chinese Cresteds got their start in China."

Yuk, yuk, yuk!

Thanks for telling me about your customer, Dysart.

I have MS which is related, to some extent, to Lupus. I have allergies, too. Most people I know with MS have allergies, too.

So, I have an even greater reason to getting a Crested. Might not cause my allergies to flare!

All this Crested talk makes me want to get my hat and coat out and find me a CC that needs a home!

freekitty, wonder if your pups were ever in their breed shelter...

"Ya know, I just realized the AKC allowed a single European breed to be broken up into 3 (leaving out one coat type) separate breeds."

Schnauzers are broken up into 3 breeds: miniature, standard and giant.

Schnauzers are wonderful dogs!

"And Corgis."

The Queen loves her Corgis like I love Schnauzers!

Interesting how people seem to have a particular breed they like but don't always know why.

I have never been around Airedales, but feel drawn to them nonetheless.

LOL, that was a hot mess for sure!

That Boa...not a feathered boa-—no not at all.

Yea, I googled ‘cause I wanted to find out about the “life with Elizabeth” show as I watched it when it was on.

My introduction to Betty White many decades ago...

I love that song “You are my Sunshine”...my granddaughter sung it for me earlier this year!

geez girl

speaking of wasting bandwith

I see nearly all the exodus 2007 anti freepers this side of howlin and sinkspur are back being the assclowns they always were (except one I’ve buried the hatchet with if she sees this)

they waste more bandwith here than this poor woman does

be sweet
