Skip to comments. It's official: Women ARE grumpier than men in the mornings

If the woman in your life woke up grumpy this morning, dont be too hard on her. It is, apparently, only natural.
Scientists have discovered that women need more sleep than men. And chances are, shes not getting enough. In fact, the best thing a loving husband or partner can do is perhaps persuade her to get a few extra hours snuggling under the duvet. Or face the consequences.
Scientists say women suffer more than men, both mentally and physically, if they are forced to skimp on their sleep. As well as a higher risk of heart disease, depression and psychological problems, sleep-deprived women have extra clotting factors in their blood, which can lead to a stroke. They also have higher inflammation markers, which indicate developing health problems.

Do. Not. Talk. To. Me. In. The. MORNING!!!
Who cares what some study says. Get up, get busy and get over it and quit whining.
All I want my wife to do in the morning is make my coffee, breakfast, and a sammich for my lunch.
Conversation is not necessary.
Tell that to my wife.
How much did that study cost the taxpayer?
LOL BG! Same here. I’m a morning person if I’ve stayed up all night. If I have to get up, then that’s another thing.
Have these scientists never met a woman?
They've ALWAYS said that ;o)
I don’t care HOW much sleep I’ve had! LEAVE ME ALONE till I want to talk! ;)
The very WORSE is when Gramps greets me with a cheery hello right after I’ve woke up to ask what’s for dinner.
I got rid of all of my cast iron skillets as I believed they were a liability. Har!
Apparently not enough! Or, men (in general, mind you) are just not gettin' it.
During WWII, when women worked in the factories, they were on par, for errors and injuries, with the men when the workday was 8 hours/day. However, when those days were increased to 12 hours/day, the women’s rates increased many times over, whereas the men were not affected.
It really depends on WHAT or WHO wakes me up. If it’s the bab, it’s instant sunshine. Every time. ALL the time. I honestly can’t remember a single time I have ever been grumpy at her in five years. It’s like I can’t help but smile from ear to ear just seeing her standing there or her prying open my one eye to see if I’m “in there.”
Just SHUT UP DAMMIT!
Well........darn. You’re right, aren’t you?
My DOG could wake me up and it would be fine.
What’s for dinner?
And YOU shut up! JUST SHUT UP AND GIT OUTTA MY FACE!
Yes, I would like to have about three hours of quiet before I need to make conversation. I get up early enough for that. But every once in a while, my husband gets up early, too.
That is when the fight began.
Or maybe just some granola.
I don’t know how hungry I’ll be, yet.
