Woman Sues Doctor, Who Failed to Kill Baby in Botched Abortion

In a bizarre case out of Ohio, a woman who experienced a botched abortion, where her baby lived, is suing the abortion practitioner who performed the procedure for failing to take the live of her six-month-old baby.

Don’t get 22-year-old Ariel Knights wrong, she is thrilled to have her child, whom she calls a “miracle,” but she is suing the abortion practitioner and the abortion clinic for shoddy medical practice. Knights went to have an abortion because she has a rare medical condition where she was born with two uteruses and she worried about the medical complications associated with a pregnancy.

As the Christian News Network reports:

Knights, 22, says that she sought the abortion because she has a medical condition called uterus didelhpys. In laymen’s terms, it means that she has two uteruses — one on the left and one on the right.

Knights discovered that she had the condition during her first pregnancy, but because her son, who is now a preschooler, was implanted in her left uterus, she did not feel as concerned. This time, however, doctors advised Knights that her baby girl was growing in her right uterus, stating that it put her and the baby “at risk.”

Therefore, in March of 2012, Knights went to Akron Women’s Medical Group to seek an abortion.

“It was a decision made because my life was in jeopardy,” she told reporters. “End of story. Point blank, that’s it.”

Knights admits that the environment inside of the facility was morbid.

“Every seat was full. People were standing,” she said. “It was pretty much like a slaughterhouse. It was like, ‘OK, next, next.’”

When it became Knights’ turn, she hopped onto the operating table, and as the Akron Beacon Journal reports, “position[ed] her lower body above a trash bag.”

Days after the procedure, Knights still felt ill and in pain, so she went to the ER with her fiance, where an ultrasound was performed.

“[The doctor] was like, ‘Oh my goodness, honey, you’re still pregnant,’” she recalled. “My fiance and I, we both were kind of in shock.”

After calling Akron Women’s Medical Group about the issue, Knights decided to seek out another abortionist. However, she was told that the facility would not take over after “somebody else’s mistake.”

Therefore, Knights decided to keep the baby.

This is a rare case. An abortion for the health of the mother. Do wonder why doctors never encouraged her to remove one of her two uterus?

I know....the moral outrage of not getting an abortion when one orders an abortion....

bet money that she's on Medicaid and got the whole thing paid for anyway...and now she just wants a little more spending cash..

Sounds like a moral condition more than a medical one.

Why abort? Couldn’ they just have done a c-section? The mother’s life would be saved and the child would be spared as well. I don’t understand why the doctor would advise her to abort!

It seems odd, but then our society seems at times to be running amok.

Good luck trying to explain that to the girl when she grows up.

“Well Mommy sued the doctor because I wanted to kill you, but he failed. Oh well.”

I went in expecting to get a dead baby, and the doctor FAILED to give me that.

Oh, but NOW I love my baby so much.

But let me guess, the "mom" is suing for 18 years of child-rearing.

Just when you think people can't get any more psycho, I am still surprised by the depths of evil humans will sink into.

Yes indeedy, it might be a miracle, if it opened your eyes to the evil you and the bad doctor were attempting and God did not allow it to go to y’all’s desired result.

Yessiree. She celebrates the miracle of an unwanted child surviving its mother's murderous intent.

so you want to have the doctor PAY you $$$ for creating a LIVING HUMAN? That is NOT a BOTCHED ABORTION, HONEY!! That is called a BIRTH...

Knights admits that the environment inside of the facility was morbid.

“Every seat was full. People were standing,” she said. “It was pretty much like a slaughterhouse.

It is a SLAUGHTERHOUSE, you DUMBF**K!! A SLAUGHTERHOUSE for BABIES!!

“My fiance and I, we both were kind of in shock.”

Psst, you are supposed to get MARRIED before having KIDS!!! (Is your son daddy this guy or another sperm donor?)

Therefore, Knights decided to keep the baby.

And the girl will feel like she is unwanted, because she is. hey, Dumbf**K, you should have placed her up for adoption!

She would be loved in a loving family!! Unlike yours!!

“Well Mommy sued the doctor because I wanted to kill you, but he failed. But don't worry, sweetie, Mommy loves you and I won't try to kill you again. I promise."

Wow, that's about a million times worse than finding out you were adopted and, after many years of searching, you find your birth parents.
