A scorned husband who hung an angry message to his ex outside his house claims he took the drastic action after finding his estranged wife had stripped the property of all their belongings.
Robin Baker, 45, said he put up the homemade sign outside his house in Coalville, Leicestershire, to inspire men not to let their ex walk all over them.
The truck driver is in the process of divorcing his wife of 22 years, Jeanette Baker, 47, with whom he has three grown up children.
He said the pair mutually agreed to end their relationship in April last year, but claims he returned home last week to find the semi-detached property empty - with even the curtains and curtain rails missing.
Robin said even the plants in the back garden of their £127,000 home had been uprooted and removed by his soon-to-be ex-wife.

“My soon to be ex stole my family heirlooms, hacked into my personal new bank acct and transferred all funds into her acct.”
Well, she really stepped in it there, because that is larceny, bank fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, and all sorts of federal felonies right there, and the bank can likely trace it all back to her home IP address, since she doesn’t seem to be very smart.
“that is larceny, bank fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, and all sorts of federal felonies right there, and the bank can likely trace it all back to her home IP address, since she doesnt seem to be very smart.”
And the bank is itching for a police report, they say they can easily see exactly what happened. Lesson for all, a large percentage of bank fraud/ theft is from “trusted” entities.
I’ve always liked:
“I’ll never get married again. I’ll just find a woman I hate and buy her a house.”
Growing up this happened to a friend of the family. He had agreed to give her $8000 a month (this was the early 80s) and that wasn’t enough.
Nothing was left in the house including the 300+ firearms he had collected.
Divorces are expensive because they’re worth it
There is an important lesson here for anyone getting divorced....I’ve been down this road..(ahem) ..numerous times. No kids, so no child support. The last time, the judge asked my wife(at the time) “What do you want from this man? Anything?” I sat there quietly and said to myself “SHUT UP, Judge! SHUT UP!” The soon-to-be exwife said “Yes. I want him the F-—K out of my life!! Let him go fishing all he wants! Maybe he’ll fall overboard!!!” Later her lawyer asked me what I fish for, where and could I take him on a trip. I’m leaving this Sunday for a grouper trip to Hernando Beach, FLorida. Got four seats available.
“F all” is a Britishism that means “nothing”. Sign makes perfect sense to me...
Could be worse. I grew up near a guy whose wife left him after he lost both legs in a workplace accident. He found out when he came home from the hospital.
/just saying...And not a bad price either.
it’s still weak... not a very good comeback... imo...
I’m sorry to hear this, Dave. I wish you the best of luck. God Bless.
I know THREE different men to whom this has happened - homes stripped of literally everything, including personal property from their childhood. (After being ransacked by the fairer sex, one of these poor SOBs literally did not have so much as a picture of his late father, who had died when the victimized husband was just a boy, because his wife took EVERY photo he owned.) Two of the three men of my acquaintance were left without so much as a partial roll of toilet paper in the house. The other got a full roll. No joke. And all three of the “ladies” left for super dooper new bee effs. There is something black and evil in the soul of woman. And yeah, I said “woman.”
