Good Lord. You must have gone to public school. “Dogs” should be the plural, not “dog’s.” And it should be “neighbor’s dog” not “neighbors dog.”

Agreed. I have two cats and a dog. I could not choose between them. This is a stupid study. Who funded it?

Your point was well made but I don’t think hyenas are dogs. They seem to be something between a canine and a feline.

Yup, cats joined the human community when farming (and grain storage) was invented..........when farmers found out that "rodents" love stored grain.
Most of the "story" is garbage. Cats can do pretty much anything a dog can.....it just takes more time to train them to do it.
Creation story....when God made man, he was attempting to get himself the equivalent of a dog. What he got was the equivalent of a cat..... :^)
As a professional vocal coach, I would say that the husky has better technique, but the elk-hound is more original and understated in his phrasing.
Together, they demonstrate the traditional “Call and Response” format so typical of both High Church Antiphony and the Blues.
I actually trained my Border Collie(RIP) to sing Opera.

If another black plague comes, via a terrorist attack, cats will be highly regarded as rat killers. During the middle ages people with cats seemed to not catch the plague and cats gained much respect. Having said that I have 2 dogs, which serve as my home security system. I don’t need a high tech monitoring system.
