Good pizza and a bottle of fine Zinfandel is one pleasure I could never give up.

New York pizza and Chicago deep dish. No one has ever had such a perfect selection for their first 2 slices.

Margherita pizza is the absolute mac daddy.

I was in Florence and saw someone’s grandmother eating a tissue thin margherita pizza that was as big around as if you reach in front of you and make a circle with your arms and touch your fingertips. It was cooked in a wood fired oven and looked heavenly.

I watched as she ate every bite. I tried it and was hooked, gaining five pounds eating that pizza four times a week over the course of five weeks. Or course I washed it down with a large carafe of frizzante bianco.

I could eat pizza every day for the rest of my life and would LOVE it. We just bought a Big Green Edd so I can try my hand at cooking pizza over lump charcoal.

He does have the look of a food critic.
If he’s searching for a new gig, I think he found it.

Connie’s or Giordano’s?
Based on the graffiti on the walls, it may be Gino's East.

I wonder if he'll get the same ration of s*it that Sarah Palin got for eating pizza with a fork and knife...

Sarah Palin slammed for eating pizza with fork in NY!

Wow, I was at that dump Holiday Inn in St. Charles 3 weeks ago. Giordano’s was very good. This is coming from a Boston guy. Gino’s East was okay.

LOL! To an Italian, wine would be perfectly fine with pizza as it is with spaghetti. But, draft beer with pizza at the local Round Table pizza here does sound pretty darn good right about now! ^_^

I’m from the state that practically invented pizza, and I can’t stand our flat, cardboard crap hometown product (Pepe’s). Deep dish is the way to go.
