Are these same save-the-bird get-rid-of-cat people the ones who want acres and acres of windmills? ‘Cause each windmill kills hundreds to thousands of birds. (Birds can’t see the spinning blades.) I’d say give the kitty’s a break. My cat has caught perhaps 10 birds in 14 years. I know, because she gave them all to me. That’s about 10,000 cats per windmill in killing power.

Cat lovers will always deny the plain evidence.

Fortunately, the Gaia-lovers have also given us an explosion of other predators like coyotes, wolves, bobcats and mountain lions. Cats could replace mice and rabbits as staples of the diet.

We don’t have a feral cat problem in my suburban neighborhood. There are some foxes who have made it their hunting territory.

Do these people get upset over lions eating antelopes? If not, they should shut up. The only reason why they are dumping on cats is because PEOPLE OWN CATS and it is to CONTROL them.

Not rational, but liberalism is not rational.

I don’t mind domestic cats, however the latest trend by the loons is to trap, neuter/spay and release the feral ones who slaughter many beneficial birds and mammals. Feral felines should be exterminated, period.

Cat people always think they are above the law and let their pets roam loose. Cats like to hunt, and I think any cat coming into my yard is fair game too. A catnip encrusted piece of fish in a live trap works well, then I send them to the local shelter.

My family always keeps a couple of barn cats around on the farm. Keeps the rodent population in check.

Females are, however, spayed, lest they quickly wind up with a couple of hundred cats. They can reproduce like rabbits.

I tell all cat-suckers:

If you were only half as tall as you are AND
your cat was twice as tall as he is then
you wouldn’t be “the owner”, you would be “the lunch”!

I loathe felines...

Our dogs catch squirrels, it’s what they do.

But speaking of “kittens”...my guys are fishermen and Peta has a campaign against catching fish. One of the most insipid PETA campaigns was aimed at children to “Save the Sea Kittens.” You’ll have to see it to believe it.

All of my cats live inside, so if a bird breaks in he is trespassing (and, thus, fair game).

Cats kill birds-so do all the predator animals in the woods, including foxes. I keep my 3 cats indoors, along with my dog-outdoor cats and dogs have short and brutal lives in the country-coyotes, feral dogs, raccoons, wild hogs, and a mountain lion consider them fast food. There is no shortage of birds here-I feed them, and have a bird bath for them.

Awhile back, a dove got inside when I had a door open, taking out the trash. My Husky and all three cats went after the thing, and it didn’t last 15 minutes-my smallest and most agile cat grabbed it right out of the air with both front paws when it flew over the loft. I did not let them eat it, but everyone got treats. If that makes me anti-bird, so be it...
