This is the first time in many years that I have put pen to paper for a lengthy letter, so please forgive my misspellings, poor handwriting or any other errors. I will probably do this in one go and be finished with it. I wont need much of this new notebook. Its a nice room, desk and chair, but really, no computer? I just wish they would stop the hammering outside. I need to focus in order to write well.
No one person could possibly expect to know the full truth about such a complex history, so near to its time. But I know what I know, saw what I saw, and heard what I heard. Now its time to set the record straight, at least about what transpired between some of the key players in the lead up to the recent events.
What I have heard called the plan began as idle office chat, nothing more. (Of course, not much chat is ever truly idle at the very highest levels of power, between senior presidential advisors.) The first time I heard it mentioned was over lunch with Dennis in the White House Mess, down in the basement next to the situation room. The rate that we are becoming a socialist state is breathtaking. Hard to believe that Reagan only left office 15 years ago.
The only problem with that reality would unfortunately not make it so easy. It’s a nice narrative, but too optimistic about how it would turn out. I think it’s too happy of an ending compared to the last comparable time - the Civil War.
Check your math. It was 24 years ago when Reagan left office.
P.S. Don’t forget the fact that the feds have used the WOD as an excuse to enact hundreds if not thousands of draconian laws.
Only seems like 15. :)
The only flaw in that story, is that not enough leftists were hung.
I wouldn't put that past this current administration, for sure. You have captured how these godless Marxists would conduct business if they suddenly sprouted nads.
Why didn’t the vessel didn’t have an “accident” that resulted in its sinking at the media event?
That would still leave room for the same outcome for the target, yet make the point that much more profound.
Please do not change titles.
