I have no idea what genyme might mean. A typo, maybe.
Think Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Why Me (although I prefer to call the current crop "Generation Fail" instead.

In the early years, Rush went through the whole Snerdley family tree. The first was the beautiful and gracious Melba Snerdley. There was also Marvin and Mervin and Chin Yang Snerdley. Have I missed any?

...and there are other posters who
are willing to challenge the programming
and effectiveness of Rush, and other radio
talking heads, that I agree with, too.

Hahah I get it. GenWhyMe. I hope the lesson they are now learning is to vote for job creation instead of “fairness.” Nothing could be more unfair to them than Democrat policies.

I missed all those early years, at least for being an every day listener. I’ll ask co-worker Al who goes way back with Rush.

Unless it was a cosmic coincidence.
He’s got a Gulfstream and millions in the bank but that can’t protect him from a wife who wants to launch her little side business.

To be fair I think he does. Of course, the doltish callers say ‘I was told to get straight to the point so I will.’ But their useless preamble makes a mockery of that advice.
The third hour is an exercise in redundancy and spoken-word adverts. Paul Harvey could pull off the folksy pitch. RL can’t.

In many cases I agree with you but a watch of the Dittocam feed reveals that he is, occasionally but still too often, responding to words or movement beyond the glass in the studio (which we can’t see).
RL hasn’t flown commercial in years so he may not be aware how annoying being an unwilling third-party in a conversation truly is. Like it or not, we must mentally fill in the other side of the discussion and in the case of RL/Snerdly it is mundane indeed.
