Is the government mad because she avoided the sales taxes?

Two lawyers are sitting on a beach when a hot looking babe walks by. The first lawyer says to the other lawyer “Gee, wouldn’t you like to screw her.” The other lawyer says “Out of what?”

According to the complaint, in 2011 she received $70 worth of office supplies from the second man for her recently-established legal practice in Sycamore in exchange for a sex act."

What's wrong with offering your services "pro bono"?

She would not make a good lawyer anyway. I she had promise as a lawyer she would have charged far more.

Me: Not guilty I say.

Person: Why do you say that?

Me: I was blinded by the headlights.

Was that a Steely Dan or a Jackson Browne reference?

It appears that clients getting screwed by their attorneys for cash is A-OK, but attorneys getting screwed by their clients for cash is a no-no.

Not only is she not guilty, I am surprised that as a lawyer she was able to get “clients” for her other line of work. Most lawyers have the most effective form of contraception ever developed. Their personalities.

As an attorney, that’s pretty much been my experience.

I don’t get it. I thought the whole point of going to school was to learn new things. Why go to law school if you are already a whore?
