Of course a cable t.v. show with grown men acting like buffoons really MUST be taken seriously.

It's easy to criticize that of which you have no knowledge.

I'll be getting that and Phil's book as well. Reminds me a little of the type of homespun wisdom and common sense that I received from family. Was blessed to know all my great- grandparents and grandparents (except my fraternal grandmother for who I was named) and benefited greatly from much of what they said. Wish I'd followed it a little more closely in my early years. : )

“The written word isn't really one of your strong suits, is it?”

No it isn't, sometimes I just have to use two syllable words even if you find irony in it.

Anyone that disagrees with you must surely be ignorant. Of course.

Is Mr. Lucky a mind reader? Maybe HollyWeird is where the clear eyed and cleanly motivated folks come from to do shows about the deep South. Can you read their minds too?
I didn’t know.......

Isn’t that clever. Your assume the ability to critique a television show you have never watched, but accuse others of being “mind readers”.

No “special effort” just a few key strokes and my, my, my...look at what comes out of the cellar of special sensitivity. Over a t.v. show! A t.v. show!!!
Man, get a grip here!

I’ve watched the show several times, but how would you know “you have never watched”? Because I don’t care for the show? Because surely if I HAD watched I would agree with others??? How could it be otherwise??? phttttttt!

The average viewer of the show having an I.Q equal to one the duck decoys I can understand it’s popularity.

I’ve watched the show several times,

Ahh, so you are an average viewer of the show, having seen it several times?

Nah, let the supercilious condescendingly harrumph to their hearts' content. After all, Pharisees were denigrating a band of bucolic disciples long before today's imperious arbiters of taste weighed in.

Alan, the beardless pastor brother, then closed things out with a prayer: “Father, we thank you for this night, and we thank you for the blessing of being in this place. Thank you for Mom and Dad and their commitment to one another, and all the years they’ve served you. Father, we pray for continued blessings on our family. Amen.”

It is a prayer millions of Americans understand.

For millions upon millions of TV viewers, Duck Dynasty is the kind of funny, smart, wholesome, all-American programming we’ve been praying for.

I wasn't commenting on the syllables, but the poor syntax you used to call someone else stupid.

Ass. It is ok not to like a show, but to insult the show and the viewers because it is not your style is weak.

Maybe you were hoping for some more “man-love” than what the show offers.

Somehow, I figured you to be a fan of "Operation Repo."

"South Beach Tow" seems to be much too low-brow for someone of your cultured tastes.

I read the article. The show is about five people who were fortunate in business, and now they have a reality show. So what? I think Sarah Palin is a pretty interesting individual, but I don’t care to watch shows about her private life. That goes for anybody else.
