Sir Stuffington is said to be a cat pirate. And his eye-patch? It's starting a trend.
The one-eyed kitten, about six weeks old, was found by Oregons Multnomah County Animal Services on September 13, homeless and roaming Portlands streets with two other kittens, believed to be his brothers.
Mangy, filthy and flea-infested, he was suffering from an upper respiratory infection when he was found, and he had a heart murmur.
The cat additionally had a possible jaw fracture that has since healed.
He also, strangely, has a permanently curled upper lip, possibly due to the jaw fracture.

FULL TITLE: Meet Sir Stuffington the one-eyed 'pirate cat' taking the internet by storm: Adorable stray has found fame after being taken in by new owner
More pix at source. WARNING: Sir Stuffington is adorable; his owners, less so.
aww, cute.
So for dinner does he say ‘me-arrrrghh’?
me-arrrrghh?
AYE thats what I was wonderin too.. me hearty!
Poor thing survived the raccoon attack that killed his mom and a sibling, and nearly claimed him.
Tuff Gato!
Well, the couple gets points for a) taking in a cat needing lots of attention and care, and b) drawing attention to the problem of injured strays, etc.
It appears it's a couple of lesbians. Aisley is pretty much Not Guilty. Blazer, OTOH, looks a little more rough-and-tumble, and the tats only reinforce that impression.
Luckily, cats can't read.
(Or can they???)
Glad he did, and glad he found a loving home.
I assume nothing.
I have a one-eyed pony that I rescued, she is not famous but maybe if I make her an eye patch...
Odd thing is my liberal neighbor was totally grossed out by the fact that my pony is missing an eye; even though it was sewed up nice and neat and totally healed before neighbor saw it. Neighbor told me he could not stand to look at my pony, it literally made him sick to his stomach. I cannot comprehend his reaction and wonder what he will do if he is ever disfigured.
Your neighbor has some issues that he’s projecting onto others.
P.S. The pony eyepatch would be totally awesome. Especially with a pirate hat.
This little fellow looks like a relative of Grumpy Cat who now has some lucrative business deals with cat food companies. What a cute sweet little thing Sir Stuffington is. I have special needs kitties and they are the best.
LOL! Poor kitty!
If this “neighbor” persists in making nasty remarks about your pony, tell him you are not forcing him to come around the look at the pony. Then pet the pony in front of this guy’s face. (This “neighbor” IS disfigured, it’s just ON THE INSIDE where it’s truly ugly and warped.)
I find the cat’s owner’s tattoos to be a bit disturbing.
They don’t exactly give me warm fuzzies either. Still, credit to her for adopting Sir Stuffington.
