Motor vehicle drivers never, ever run lights, speed, cut people off, pull bone headed stunts to shave 5 seconds off the drive. Nope. Never seen it. Impossible. Doesn’t happen.
Unlike auto drivers, cyclists maim and kill tens of thousands of innocent people every year. Or is it the other way around? I forget.
Who is more of a danger to others - some skinny prick cyclist on a 15lb. plastic bike running a stop sign or some douche in a 4000lb. SUV yakking on a cell doing 45 down a residential street? I saw both on my commute today.

I don’t speed on residential streets, but I could be talking on the phone, eating a burger, drinking a beer, smoking a cigar, and seducing a virgin, and I’d still be less of a danger to others than bicycle crazies.
Get a car.
That said, there has been a huge increase in “bike lanes” and cyclists in my little town.
The “skinny pricks” pay absolutely zero attention to any and all traffic regulations, from my personal observation.
My tiny little vehicle will kill them just as dead if I hit them, as any SUV or large truck will.
OTOH, my car has seat belts, air bags and a few other crash safety design features absent in bicycles. I am forced by law to pay for annual registration fees and PIP/Liability Insurance merely in order to legally use the public roads I drive on. Perhaps the cyclists need to ante up a few bucks....
Wouldn’t be interesting to know how many useless laws are on the books, not just in Kaliforniastan but in all other states as well?
Who wants to undertake that task?
