Got an Engine - What do I do with it?

The body of my lawn mower broke. Totaled. I purchased a new lawn mower. But I now have a 6.25 HP Briggs & Stratton engine that runs as good as the day it was bought. So what do I do with the engine? (It seems such a waste to get rid of it)

Vertical Shaft? Their are hovercraft plans using a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood and a leaf blower. This much hp might make that concept work really nice...

My wife asked what we would do without her truck, if we are unable to make loan payments for prolonged shutdown.

I promised her she would have a vehicle.

Your engine on a wheelbarrel is adequate.

This gets my vote. But convert it to run on BS. As long as there are ratz and RINOs in politics you’ll never run out of fuel...

Assuming it is vertical shaft, not much you can do with it that is worthwhile financially other than put it on Craigslist and sell it.

Horizontal shaft gives you a lot of options......but then, selling it might be the best idea for it as well......

Some old hydraulic cylinders with lines, junkyard hydraulic pump, an old I-Beam, some welding and bolts, a ball valve, and presto! a great log splitter for about $50.
