I had the 32g WiFi only original. For the 3 I maxed it out at 64g and added the cellular option.
What I’m gobsmacked about is the new Mac Pro desktop. What a sweet looking kickass little machine. Way above my price range, but holy smokes! Can drive three 4K monitors, up to 12 cores, 1TB SSD.... All in a package about the size and shape of a cookie jar. LOL!
I had one for about 3 days. Disappointed.
Sales told me. 'Just connect the old MBP up to the new one with this cable and transfer all your data to the new one"
Well, 12 hrs. later it finally finished.(I didn't have much on the old MBP. Read stories of it running 24 hrs.+)
That soured me.
Need to make sure 'sleep' mode and WiFi are turned off. I wasn't apprised of that.
Then the new retina MBP have no DVD drives. So you have to buy an external, $80.
Kinda defeats the purpose of a laptop, portability.
Apple's argument is everything is going to 'the cloud' or thumb drives or SD cards.
My cameras, including the one I just bought Fri. have their manual on a CD.
Tried transferring some programs. DVD to thumb drive, thumb drive to new MBP. PIA
Returned the new MBP and am using the one I bought in 2007.
Very, very disappointed with Apple.
