Police arrest man who fled after launching car onto Forest Acres roof

Police have arrested the man they believe was driving a car that went airborne and landed on a Forest Acres roof early Saturday morning.
A Columbia Police Department spokesperson says officers took 21-year-old Antwon Ashley into custody overnight.
He's been charged with reckless driving, driving under suspension, hit and run with property damage, failure to stop for blue lights, littering and trafficking crack cocaine. Police say Ashley is a gang member.

Ah, I Google Mapped it and see what he did. He probably floored it down Gervais Street (which is one of the main drags in downtown Columbia) but heading away from downtown, the street kind of runs out about a mile from where the cops started chasing him. It turns into Grace Hill Road, so I guess he was trying to hit 88 mph and go back in time, and instead he missed the curve and parked on somebody’s roof.
Only in Columbia.
