You do know that Heroes’ 2nd season was botched due to the writer’s strike? No-one, especially the writers wanted what you saw on your TV. Unfortunately, the writers’ even higher rpriority was union unity.

Hmmm, can’t agree with all these. Space Above and Beyond was terrible, should have never been green lit. Heroes started great but kept getting worse, probably canceled too late. Dark Angel was stupid. Dollhouse didn’t get interesting until it got canceled, Joss really buried the lead on that one. Terra Nova wasn’t that interesting, it was OK but don’t miss it. And Farscape just sucked, I’ll never figure out why so much of fandom loves that show. And a big miss from that list is Brisco County Jr, yeah it was a western with SF elements, but it was a blast.

Sounds the daily news. HA.

I remember a series called V back in the 80s. For some reason your post reminds me of that.

When they cancel a show, they should release synopses of the episodes of the season that wasn’t. I think that would be cool.

Some shows, like Star Trek Enterprise, the writers tried hamfisting the political crap into it, and people walked away.
The producers refused to believe that was what happened, so they continued increasing the crap rather than tell a story.

Oops.

1. Firefly terrible, was like a space western

2. Space Above and Beyond - never heard of it

3. Jericho - boring

4. Journeyman - never heard of it

5. The 4400 - agree! THIS ended too soon, I actually bought the books so I could get some closure.

6. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - hm.. it was ok.

7. Heroes - OMG !!! I LOVED that show!

8. Dark Angel - never heard of it

9. Star Trek: Enterprise - it was ok, movies rock MUCH more.

10. SGU Stargate Universe SGU Stargate Universe - hm... ok

11. Invasion - never heard of it

12. V - ok

13. Caprica - ANOTHER GREAT SHOW! I didn’t even like the remake of Battlestar Galactica, but I was really into this show.

14. FlashForward - never heard of it

15. Dollhouse - sounds creepy, never heard of it

16. Threshold - never heard of it

17. Terra Nova - got bored

18. The Event - never seen it

19. Defying Gravity - never heard of it

20. Farscape - was pretty good, been a lot of years since I saw it. It seems like they did release a movie that sort of tied up most of the loose ends if I recall.

"I’d like to see a series set in the future about the certain global economic collapse that leftist policies will bring about."

Well there is a book like that.

I really liked Lost Room but I didn’t really see where it had a TV show in it. Pretty much it was all about chasing “artifacts” finding out what they did, how they combined, and a nod to why it all happened. But as a show it would have gotten boring: group X steals a thing, our hero gets it back, a little more information about WTF but of course never actually solving it. Would have gotten very redundant very quickly.

All 13 episodes of Journeyman are available on Hulu

It would be nice if the creator/writer of these shows would release notes or synopsis of what would have come after.

That was the orginal 'V'. I liked it much better than the reboot. The best thing about the reboot Morena Baccarin!

...loved Fringe! I think it ended appropriately (although I would have continued to watch it for years). I just wish Max Headroom had gone on a little longer.

I personally liked QUARK, about an outer space garbage man. The show itself was not that great, but androids BETTY I and BETTY II were!

Firefly definitely number 1 on the list. It would have been interesting to see where they would have gone with it and if they could have kept it as clever and entertaining as it was.

I also really enjoyed Journeyman and though it could have been really good. I would easily trade in Farscape for another season of both Firefly and Journeyman.
