Very nice.

My stepfather’s business partner kept a few hives, and we often got fresh honey from him. I used to like to eat the honeycomb, in little pieces since it was so sweet.

I sincerely hope that none of those hives on your property are ever afflicted by colony collapse disorder.

in 2013 there were fears that the Black Sigatoka fungus would in turn make Cavendish bananas unviable

Black Sigatoka affects banana leaves, whereas Panama affects the underground banana rhizome and root system. Sigatoka can be recognized early, with a number of fungicides available to knock down the disease.
