Her choice is Janelle Monae's "Tightrope". I like this! She's actually singing and her voice sounds really good.
Keith: Killer song choice. Janelle is a good place to draw from for you. Your personality really comes out in that.
Jlo: You so have your own style. There's no one else like you. That song was so perfect you. Different ways the rythym hits your body. You're blessed. Great performance.
Harry: I think my favorite thing about you is the mystery and how the mystery is going to unravel. That was terrific, Majesty.

Hard song to sing without stumbling.
She did sound like she knew what she was doing, good for her.
Remember the speech impediment guy had trouble hearing the band and we made fun of him. They’re having the same problems. Maybe the sound guy needs to get fired or maybe it’s a conspiracy.
Sound guys.... one thing about em.... until you get into the big leagues they always suck. We used to say a sound guy was just a drummer without a gig.

Connick noted to at least two that the ear piece could induce the voice to sing out of tune. One wonders if the ear pieces are causing problems the inexperienced singers don’t understand

Her song is Coldplay's "The Scientist". Wow, she is REALLY good. Powerful voice. A cut above the others we've heard so far.

Harry: Coolest thing about what you do is how you make interesting choices on a pre-existing melody. Your melodic choices drive the lyrics. That's a good thing.
