How many of you knew there was a four hour rule?
It is a duplicate thread. You must wait 4 hours to re-post the same article for it not to be automatically pulled as a duplicate.
Find a similar article or wait 4 hours.

I had no idea what kind of threads you were talking about and I still don’t. I’m creeping up on 21,000 threads and I don’t remember hearing of caucus threads, or I did and Oldtimer’s kicked in.
IMHO, with the search function FR has, there’s no reason to ever post a duplicate. Search: it’s a function. Use it.
What topics would those be? And what prevents you (besides the four hour rule) from starting your own caucused threads, preventing others from "commenting on certain religious topics"?

Hmmm, I’ve posted on Catholic caucus threads and I’m a Protestant. Had no problems yet.

As I said, the 4 hour rule has been around for quite a while. It’s reasonable and if applied equally to all, it’s fair. I have no problem with it.

I started this thread because the religious mod told me I couldn’t comment on a Catholic Caucus thread. Then he told me about the four hour rule. So apparently the official position of this site is you can comment on anything you like as long as you wait four hours.

I didn’t know anything about this and just read on the Religious Moderator’s page about posting on religious threads. The rules are written right there about caucus threads. If you have a problem, you need to discuss it with the Religious Moderator.
Complaining like you are doing now, will get you nothing.
I would forgive that if I thought you weren’t a bigot.
