I loved the A-Team remake. Steering a flying tank.

Best Remake: The Maltese Falcon, 1940. The original, in 1931, was horrible.

Worst Remakes: King Kong, 1976, and the one with Jack Black several years ago.

I love the original “Miracle on 34th Street”, with Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara, and Natalie Wood.

It’s awful in the 1994 remake. Even Richard Attenborough couldn’t save it.

Bleah.

The 3rd rendition was atrocious.

The first 2 were pure genius in how they melted the 70's with current day.

I mean really.........

Who didn't want Davey Jones at their high school dance?

Star Trek 2010 gets my vote as well. But then I have a life sized cutout of Mr. Spock in my office

The 1988 version of The Blob was much better than the Steve McQueen 1958 version.

I grew up never seeing The Blue lagoon until recently, actually its a pretty darn good film, but the sequel sucked from the very first image of different boats and of course the two kids(parents) DEAD.

Worst sequel I have ever seen, Return to Blue lagoon, what were they thinking?

And any films out of the former Soviet union are all crap, like Ghost Rider II.

I wouldn’t call it the worst, but the original “Invaders From Mars” was several steps up from it’s remake.

I hope they don’t even try to redo “Forbidden Planet”. To high a standard to match.
