And Thomas never said: “We are evading that”???

Sigh. Not that myth again.

Thomas never said those words about Obama's eligibility.

Every year, two Supreme Court justices go to Congress to testify, chiefly about the Court's budget. (It's not the same two every year; they rotate.) Every year, Jose Serrano, a Congressman who was born in Puerto Rico, asks whichever two justices are testifying if he (Serrano) is eligible to run for President. (This is legally a gray area, because people born in Puerto Rico are U.S. citizens, but only by statute, not under the Constitution.) Every year, whoever is testifying tells Serrano that they can't comment on a legal issue that has never been decided and may someday come before the Court. Serrano nonetheless does this every year, to the point that it has become a running joke. The year Thomas was testifying, Serrano asked his question again, and Thomas said, "you know we're evading that." Everyone laughed (as you will see on the video), because this is Serrano's running joke. President Obama never came up.

...Slightly off topic, lj, and yet perhaps not so much. I am curious about Hinduism and the Golden Rule. Namely, does Hinduism have anything approaching or similar to a Golden Rule? Or is it more like, ‘Do unto others however you may please—whether bad, good or indifferent, just go for it’?

That's islam, you disgusting piece of work. That has to be the lowest bit of dog-vomit I've ever read. Attacking a freeper's religion. Almost as bad as the scumbag who wrote a PM to the boss reporting that I wrote for a JEWISH BLOG, which btw was a series of articles on islam published by Israel National News. Is there any lower you can go?

Yep, I'm ready to be told knock it off!

1) Did President Reagan make any “funny” = controversial decisions after meeting with member of SCOTUS, and was this meeting disclosed in some details, publicly? 2) Did President Clinton make any “funny” = controversial decisions after meeting with members of SCOTUS and was this meeting disclosed in some details, publicly?? 3) I’m sorry I’ve confused you, I tried to make it shorter for you to understand, which you obviously do NO!!!!

Every President makes decisions which are controversial to some. Not sure what else you are alluding to.

All of the presidential meetings with the Supreme Court (Reagan, Clinton and Obama) were private; the details of none of them were disclosed.

My point is that you claim to be able to look at an online photo and positively ID it. Specifically, you claim to be able to look at a picture of David Ndesandjo and positively ID it as Obama, current occupant of the Oval office.

Yet look at all your failures. You looked at the body of a reasonably fit, very much alive man and IDed an obese, dead Fuddy. You looked at a photo of a very much alive male, Puentes, and IDed a dead female. You looked at the photo of a woman nudie model and IDed Stanley Ann Dunham.

That is my point, and it is one-hundred percent true. So for a person whose theory depends on your one-hundred percent accurate ID of an old black and white photo of David Ndesandjo, you don’t have a leg to stand on.

Where I have been is insisting that you can’t base an entire, wild, creepily bizarre theory on the fact of your positive ID of an old black and white photo of a small boy, identified by the poster of the photo as David Ndesandjo. You claim you can eyeball the photo and positively ID Barack Hussein Obama II. If your powers of observation were so keen, you’d have never eyeballed this nudie model and positively IDed Stanley Ann Obama. But you did. So your Mal-Val theory is kaput.

Dear Mr. Robinson: I asked a polite, sincere question. I didn’t attack anyone or anyone’s religion. If you can make sense of the angry, over-the-top reaction I got, can you possibly explain it to me? Thank you in advance.

Tomorrow I’ll post an article I found called “The Golden Rule in Every Religion”.

The weakest example of course is Islam.

That's the model on the left and the right and Stanley Ann Dunham in the middle, the images are all from 1958, when Stanley Ann Dunham was 16 and still in high school. Quite evidently, the images CLAIMED to be Stanley Ann Dunham were NOT who they were CLAIMED to be...and we spent a considerable amount of time disproving the Gilbert Mockumentary which featured them... Fool me once, but never try to fool me twice.

‘Does Richard Ndesandjo exist?’

Do most genealogy services list Richard?

Has Mark Ndesandjo posted photos of Richard, and IDed them as his brother?

Has Mark promised to devote an entire section of his upcoming book to his relationship with Richard, as he has to his relationship with his late brother, David?

Has Nairobi’s largest newspaper mentioned Richard as being Ruth Ndesandjo’s son, as it has David?

Has Nairobi’s second largest newspaper mentioned Richard as Ruth Ndesandjo’s son, as it has David?

When Sally Jacobs interviewed the Ndesandjos’ neighbors, did they mention Richard? They mentioned Mark and David.

Did David Maraniss mention Richard as being a son of Ruth Ndesandjo, as he mentioned Mark and David?

I gather that Richard’s entire existence is based on one quote by Ruth Ndesandjo. I’ve never seen the quote in context and I don’t know how reliable it is. If, however, she had a son named Richard, wouldn’t you think he’d left behind a bit more of a trail, a la David Ndesandjo?

I have to close down, I can’t tolerate the disgusting underhanded behaviour any longer. First it’s insinuated that I must be a jew because I wrote about islam and was published on an Israeli website, now it’s Hinduism that is denigrated, by the insinuation that it’s a religion in which ‘anything goes’ - and if you look at the homepage of the dumpster, you’ll find an ‘ex-liberal’ professing to be Christian. She’s using her ‘faith’ like a knife.

Enough.

All I wanted to know is if Hinduism has any equivalent to the Golden Rule. I didn’t realize the question would cause crazed, hyperventilating hysteria. If it can be answered calmly and factually, in the spirit it was asked, then I am still curious. If, however, it necessarily entails wild, false accusations and attacks, etc., then kindly forget about. Thanks.

From the Mahabharata:

“One should not behave towards others in a way which is disagreeable to oneself. This is the essence of morality.”

I’ve seen that video many times, and I, only I have the feeling he’s referring to, you know who, I mean in code language. His grin is NOT natural as Clarence Thomas are able to do, very unnatural laughter, but that’s just me!!!
