A video uploaded by a Phoebe Landolt shows a riot cop assaulting a girl standing on the street. Police had been called in to quell a student riot in Arizona after the Wildcats lost their game to Wisconsin.
The girl in the video did not appear to be rioting or causing a scene, but the officer can be clearly viewed charging her and knocking her over for apparently no reason.
JESUS! That was COMPLETELY uncalled for! She was literally just walking casually, nothing doing, and BAM! That cop should be charged. My God.

Did the cop make it home safe that night? That is the most important part.
And how is her dog?
I don’t believe that riots and even “disturbances” are spectator sports but that appears to be totally uncalled for and charges should be brought. But at worst the cop will probably get an all-expenses-paid Lois Lerner vacation.

That is insane. I watched it half a dozen times. She was just walking with a cup and he freakin’ tackled her.
Looks like another gutless wimp of a cop picked the least threatening target and attacked. Seems to be their M.O. these days.

Uhhhhh? Aren’t cops supposed to “serve and protect”? Maybe that’s old fashioned. 75% of the cops make the rest look bad.
About ten years ago a Boston cop leaned over a police line with an unruly crowd, lined up a shotgun and shot a women in the face with a bean bag round at 4-5 feet. She hit the ground dead...he’s probably a union shop Stewart by now.
Give a sadist free rein and they will target the most innocent.

Someone just pointed this problem out to me and now I see it everywhere.

I don’t know...looked like the azzwipe cop was holding the club with both hands, around chest level...took a running start to build momentum for the strike. Hard to tell exactly, but it looked like it was a high slamming blow with the right end of the club, maybe up side her head.
The bad part is she instantly went over the steel bench without a chance to block her fall. She’s lucky she’s alive...as a head blow on the pavement could’ve done real damage.
Notice how he bravely knocks her over, then bravely runs off immediately after being told it’s on video.
