As a UK Alum living in Louisville watching the ‘92 Duke/KY game I almost threw up then, and I almost did again. I can’t BELIEVE they didn’t guard the inbound pass!!!!
If KY beats UConn it just means the Gators had a bad night.
It’s been a bad year. First FSU gets the title in Football, now UK gets it in basketball.

This Kentucky team should have lost the last three games. The exact same player hitting a 3 pointer to win the game.
This Kentucky team, with their one and done NBA mercenaries is the worst thing that has ever happened to college basketball. The win-at-all-cost school hired the crookiest couch in the country to recruit the best players in the country, TO STAY ONE YEAR and get a fatcat NBA contract. Hopefully UConn will beat this crooked SOB. If not college basketball is dead for all intents and purposes. But one thing is crystal clear, if Kentucky wins the title again, look for the NCAA to take it away in a few years for illegal recruiting committed by Don Corleoni Calipari. He has a history of vacating winning seasons. Ask Memphis.
When you sell the NBA FAST TRACK to the elite talent, you will always be in the mix.
UK even reaching the final four was one of the worst things to happen to the college game this year.
And now that they are in the championship game, and even more so if they should win it Monday night, it will be the worst thing for the college game period.
You cannot tell me that offering up your program the way UK has for the being a middle man for the NBA on the OAD’s does not have some corruption behind it, if not now, it will soon enough.
But this is simply ruining the college game. The NCAA could slow this down if they wanted too by re-instituting the FRESHMEN Rule...where freshmen cant play varsity ball.
That way, these elite OAD’s could not get the benefit of the varsity coach unless they stayed 2 or more years.....however since they would be eligible for the draft after their freshmen year, they would more than likely opt to the NBA, and that would allow the kids that ACTUALLY want to play and contribute to the program a place to play and protect the college game.
That would pretty much put and end to Calipari’s NBA FARM TEAM SYSTEM and keep it from spreading to the rest of the college programs, more to the point, the elite programs.
But we know already their have been questionable actions at UK already with one recruit in that of Bledsoe and Calipari’s involvement getting another recruit to resend his announcement to one program. It may not be exactly against the NCAA rules, but it sure borders on the unethical.

Don Calipari is the crookiest, slimiest to come along in the coaching ranks in a long time. And he was dispised by the Kentucky faithful and they talked about him like he was a dog (which he is) when he coached at Memphis. Now they glorify the SOB because he gets the one and done players.

You know what? I am from Memphis, and what the poster said about Dirty Boy Cal is absolutely true. He goes to Mass twice a day and also his wife’s Methodist Church. Her former pastor live s next door to us. John Calipari is the most disliked man in Memphis.
