I use mine all the time for hot water. It makes good hot chocolate...just put a pack of instant HC in a cup and make hot water. The same thing would work with instant oat meal in a cup and heat water in the Keurig.

I have one of the cups that you put your own coffee in.

I'm not going to pay more for the cups than for the coffee..

Now, if it would only fry bacon at the same time, too!

*laugh* OK, mate. Guess I’ll have to ask someone to make some so I can try, then. Thanks for the clarification! *grin*

Both of them have the flavor of Styrofoam, until you ad something to flavor them. Try rice with nothing but water added, same thing. I can eat any of the above for breakfast, with lots of butter and sugar, else not so much.

Coffee grounds are great for fertilizer. Especially for roses.

We've had a Keurig for a couple of years, and I love it. In addition to the coffee I like, I also purchased a couple of reusable K-style cups (which have their own filters).

I like the Green Mountain brands, too.

Keep your eggshells as well. Grind them up and mix them into the soil. They add calcium and help to aerate the soil. Plus I’ve read that they deter slugs..................
