Bulls win 3-0.
Sometimes when you mess with the bull, you get the horn. Gotta be some allegory there somewhere.
Took a platoon trip to Lloret Del Mar and went to the bullfight in Barcelona. We were easy to spot in the crowd — we were the ones cheering with as much gusto as we could muster for the bull.
red x needed here
I root for the bulls every time.
Bull “fighting” is a barbaric torture of innocent animals. Hunters always attempt to kill with a clean shot. Only subhuman monsters torture animals for sport.
And we all know where bullfighting came from — the dickless religion of islam.
I’m sure we’ll hear from the animal rights people all giddy that the evil man got what was coming to him for ‘bull abuse’.
That is awesome , go bulls!
I went to a bullfight in Torremilenos (?) In 1978, young, drunk and tough as nails. I saw one or two bouts and started screaming “Toro! Toro, Toro!” An English guy I was sharing a goatskin of wine with, looked around and said “Shut up!!” He explained the Spanish likened this absurd spectacle as Americans looking at slaughter in a meathouse as the same thing. The meat went to Orphans homes or school. I said I only want to see a matador get killed. It didn’t happen but one Spaniard turned to me and “You are sickened also?”
This day, the Bulls win! GO BULLS!
“testicles” replies the waiter.
“Where the heck do you get those” asked the customer?
“Oh senior, the bull ring is right next door.”
So the guy tries them and decides they are pretty good. So he comes back several days in a row.
On the fourth day he calls the waiter over to the table and says, “ hey, I've come in three days in a row, and every day these were succulent and tender, today they're small, hard and dry, what gives?”
“oh senior, the bull doesn't lose every day”
Where’s that “And The Democrats Take Another In The......” Pic when we need it?
I always root for the bulls.
Works for me... I despise bullfighting.
That sympathetic Spaniard may have been ‘sickened’ by the bullfight, but I’ll bet he stayed and watched every last minute. I would mind seeing one, but would not want to have the bull’s suffering too dragged out. Actually, about two years ago, I though I heard that Spain was going to stop doing this. I could be mistaken. Or it may have been in the Mallorca area, maybe they don’t consider that as part of Spain.
i was wondering how it would be before that joke came in...lol~!
LOL! If you keep up with that joke, the ending is every Diner’s Horror!
I”m not normally a bulls fan buy I am this time.
Huh...I thought the bull only wins in politics.
I saw one in Monterrey, when I was a kid, it was brutal and ugly.
Cut off the matadors’ ears and award them to the bulls.
I’m rooting for the bulls. They, like all creatures, have a right to defend themselves.
“Bull fighting is a barbaric torture of innocent animals.”
Bloodsports are shifting back toward humans. “Ultimate Fighting” is replacing Cockfighting, Dog Fights & (in Latin-America & Iberia) Bull Fighting.
Curious too. The NFL, pro Hockey are limiting hitting thinking it’s going to eliminate concussions (it won’t). An yet 2 fighters wearing what amounts to heavy-bag gloves can “ground & pound” inside a caged ring.
It’s hard to know if we’re becoming less or more barbaric as a society.
If you wanted to prevent savage hitting in football without arcane rules, just mandate that players play “both ways”. Do away with platoon football. Linemen would necessarily get smaller & receivers & backs could then get somewhat bigger. The size & speed disparities would lessen — that is what causes the injuries.
“And we all know where bullfighting came from the dickless religion of islam”
Wrong, bullfighting is actually the last vestige of the gladiator games of Rome. Since the Roman Empire did not have the Outdoor Channel, the hunting and killing of different animals in the arena was their version. The ancients did not have the technology of special effects, so they had to do it for real. Unlike us today, who have the technology to fake it on TV and the movies.
Yea Bulls !!Love it when the bull wins.
Video of the tossings:
Back in the 80's I spent two weeks in Acapulco with my family and one afternoon we went to see a live bull fight...........
For me and my sister, (I was an Army vet and approx. 34 at the time) half way thru the first bull slaughter she and I had to leave and I'm not ashamed to say I was shedding tears at what I had witnessed.
Bull fighting and any other such torture of an animal for fun and sport is worse than barbaric..........

Now even Spanish Bulls are playing the Knockout Game?
See my last post........
Back in the day it was glamorized on TV but to actually witness one live will tear your guts out if you have any humanity within you...It's something you will never forget and regret you had ever witnessed.
As for the bull's suffering, the entire event is based on the weakening and ultimate suffering of the bull before it is finally killed.
The bullfight, as it is practiced today, involves professional toreros (of which the most senior is called a matador) who execute various formal moves which can be interpreted and innovated according to the bullfighter's style or school.... Such maneuvers are performed at close range, after the bull has first been weakened and tired by lances and short spears with barbs which are thrust into and then hang from the bull. The close proximity places the bullfighter at some risk of being gored or trampled by the weakened bull. After the bull has been hooked multiple times behind the shoulder by other matadors in the arena, the bullfight usually concludes with the killing of the bull by a single sword thrust, which is called the estocada.
Oley for Los Toros! Bullfighting is a barbaric sport, or “art” as the Spaniards call it, that should be banned.
THREE CHEERS FOR THE BULLS!!!

AFTER football and maybe hockey.....
There it is!!!!! Finally.
Romans had the bill as follows 1. Animals vs Animals Like Tigers vs Bulls 2. men vs Animals and lastly 3. Men vs men. The men were the main event—
” the evil man got what was coming to him for bull abuse”
I personally don’t care about pro sports. Bullfighting is not a sport. Dumb animals are tortured and killed for the amusement of the crowd. No comparison with pro sports where pampered narcissists are paid $millions to be battered around for the amusement of the crowd.
You may want to look up the definition of “abuse”
