A GoFundMe account has been set up for a convicted felon gone viral, after his mugshot spread through social media Thursday.
Jeremy Meeks, 30, was arrested on felony weapons charges by Stockton, California police.
The Stockton Police Department posted his mugshot to their Facebook page Wednesday. He was arrested with three other alleged gang members.
Meeks’ mugshot has more than 70,000 likes and has been shared nearly 9,000 times. The photo began generating comments from woman calling him “handsome” and saying they “didn’t know it was a crime to be sexy,” along with numerous pointing out his apparent “model potential.”
