WaPo anticipating impeachment? If it were a conservative WH, they would be leading the effort.

Freeing him up, to go to jail. That’s a win-win.

would put Obama on the winning side of public opinion
Lol. Republicans are dumb but not that dumb. They will pass all kinds of wildly (publicly) popular bills like the Keystone pipeline passage, Obamacare individual mandate repeal, energy exploration (oil fracking coal), EPA oversight, tax cuts, votes on IRS -- all things that Obama is on the wrong side of 70% public approval.

First off, the GOP isn’t the radical force this article suggests. Ideally, they would simply start passing bills that finally move the country away from socialism. This would include real step wise immigration reform, an alternative to ACA, and tax a social program reforms. Obamas refusal to sign these bills would then set up the basis for the 2016 Presidential campaign arguments.

Yes, there would be many things that he would get “for free” in Federal prison.

He might as well lose the Senate. He lost his mind and that freed him up from dealing with reality.

Don’t forget the Republican gay marriage plan and their IRS expansion!

because the odds of convicting Obama in the Senate would be better (if still prohibitive). Alternatively, Republican leaders, recognizing that the public will hold them responsible now that they have complete control of Congress, might try to compromise with Obama. Prohibitive in what way Dana? If Bush 43 had done all the illegal things 0 bummer has done, you and the rest of the SRM would have been screaming for impeachment. Compromise with the idiot in chief? Up yours Dana. I'd have him turning boulders into powder for the rest of his live in Ft Leavenworth, with mooch next to him.

Got a headache reading the first 100 replies out of 3k+ at the site. I should take up debating, just can’t get this spider-web brain of mine to take one point at a time.
