I wish I had some of this “White Privilege,” because it sounds like you can get anything you want.

I have wondered for YEARS why no one has done this.
I confess. I have white privilege.
My parents were married before I was born and stayed married to each other. We attended church weekly. That gave me white privilege.
My parents taught me to work hard and that no one owed me anything. They taught me that success or failure was in my hands and that if I failed it was because I had not worked hard enough. That gave me white privilege.
I worked hard to get good grades in high school and went from there to college, where I majored in a marketable, math-based field, instead of just drinking and chasing girls. That gave me white privilege.
I got a job where I worked hard, almost always over 40 hours a week, and learned my field as I saved aggressively. Then I took a major risk and started my own business. While some would say I “didn’t build that”, I worked 80 hour weeks, then 60 hour weeks for years. That gave me white privilege.
I married after I had a job and could support a family, but before we had kids. That gave me white privilege.
As a parent, I could buy a whole lot for my kids, but I didn’t and don’t do that. I teach them traditional values that will allow them to succeed for real. None of my kids have had children out of wedlock. All attend church weekly, even after they left home. That will give them white privilege too.

I’ve heard all those same cracks about 1,000 times starting 25 years ago.
I worked around enough liberals that had the inside track on good TV and movie work and only the approved liberal was allowed inside the track. Didn’t matter what they could do or not do or if they had any sense at all.
Good luck with that. Since I’m white and I’ve never felt any, I wish she’d send me some. Come on don’t liberals care about me?
I thought it might be a house, but then I remembered that NOBODY ever puts up money for a house, at least not anymore.
