U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder says that the Washington Redskins' name 'ought to be changed' and that it's 'an offensive name,' reports TMZ. Holder made the comments in an appearance on ABC News.

You can't nor needn't reach the issue of whether "Redskin" is "offensive", because it is unconstitutional for the feds to inquire about it.

It’s funny, because this “story” seemed to kind of go away for a while, which means it’s really not offensive to virtually anyone. Almost nobody seemed to want to talk about it anymore. Instead people have been talking about other things that the dems don’t want them to be talking about, so it was important to try to steer the conversation back to the Redskins. Nice try, but it’s not going to work.
