I'm awaiting a flight in Phoenix to Baltimore. 11 teenage Hispanic boys and four non-Hispanic adults just sat down all in a row in the terminal. The boys have not said a word and oddly, none of them have shoelaces.
This is weird and I'm not sure what to make of it or what to do. Being in a TSA zone, I sure don't want to start a protest.
I agree the handler is pathetic. Any idea what agency they are working under? If it is BP, INS, etc. then they ought to be ashamed. “Just doing my job”. No, you are facilitating an invasion contrary to the laws of our nation. Thanks for the update!

Whoever they were, they were highly unprofessional. Overweight, sloppy.
At least one place where they had them detained dropped the ball on medical exams. I read an article today that said the place they were detained in Nogales, Arizona did not do medical exams, so the children that were taken there did not get medical exams until they were turned over to HHS. They also said children with symptoms of being ill were also moved from Nogales to- different locations.
It is my understanding that mostly contractor employees are dragging these kids around. As far as I know BP, INS, etc. are only detaining and processing them supposedly for deportation hearings but I am sure we all know how that will work out.

I had just gotten in my car to go to work when I heard to talking. It was obvious he read the FR thread so I had to call.
How are these airlines guaranteeing the health/safety of all passengers, if they’re allowing unscreened, illegal immigrants to board with the general public?

I flew with my mother-in-law a couple months ago. She is 87. Because she couldn't get her arms totally over her head as is required for the x-ray machine, she had to get wanded and then had quite a thorough pat down. Her shoes were even wiped for traces of drugs.
It was all I could do not to say anything.
Why did you not say anything? I fly a couple of times a year and it never fails that at some point they single me out for something extra. I make sure they know that I think their actions are stupid. And I very much enjoy it. Apparently I am not the only one that does it since they just ignore me.
After reading this thread, family members, including me, scratched plans that went through ATL. A whole lot of folks go through ATL. I can’t imagine getting on a plane with diseased illegals. WHERE IS THE TSA or THE CDC?
