ALEXANDER COUNTY, N.C.
Police said an officer's cruiser hit a man who was running away from a pharmacy he's suspected of robbing.
Police said they arrived at the pharmacy within 30 seconds, just as the suspect came out of the drive-through window.
Investigators released dash cam video earlier Tuesday morning. It shows a man as he was hit by the patrol car as the officer arrived in the parking lot of People Pharmacy in Taylorsville early Saturday morning.
The business also has several surveillance cameras that captured the crime.
Police believe the suspect was after pain meds but couldn't find any in the pharmacy because the owner has taken precautions after other break-ins.
The suspect who was dazed by the impact ran off and is still on the loss this midday.

Well, alrighty then! Good thing he didn't get loose.

Is he still on the loose too?
He came in through the bathroom window.
What a losser.
I mean looser.
I mean....never mind.
time to hide the Jordans.. dey gon riot...
You beat me by a minute and a half.
Another Obamacare success story.
I couldn’t tell the race of the thug but I know a lot of white folks are addicted to pain pills.
If it was a white person the police hit, it may be our excuse to riot and loot and act like uncivilized beasts. I could sure use a new set of tires and with football season getting here, a new TV would be nice too.
Ahh .... I think I’ll pass on the looting and riots and just go buy my own TV.
It would be a tragic loose if he remains on the loss.

We’ve entered the Doughnut Zone.
Whoops!
And my day starts swimmingly. ..
Those 3..2..1.. things are always so funny.
It must have been a Smart Car to determine which humanoid was the bad guy so it could run into him.
