About 15 years ago I worked at a company that used a log of IT consultants. I sat next to one for a while. He also had a couple of offshore gambling sites and porn sites.

Anyway, occasionally he would take a call regarding his porn business. He would basically order girls like he was ordering computer parts. He would specify their physical characteristics and what they had to be willing to do.

In all fairness.. How is this any different than a movie director casting actors/actresses, or someone picking a cast for a play?

Not to make excuses for porn operators, but that's pretty much true of any business. Employees are to some extent tools that are used to produce results for the company.

That's true whether the product is porn, some other form of entertainment or widgets.

Of course, employees should not be JUST tools or equipment, but they certainly are to some considerable extent.
