Michael Brown's father's words at his funeral: I couldnt protect you but we love you Anger smoldered Monday in St. Louis during the memorial service for the 18-year-old gunned down by a Ferguson, Mo., police officer. We will chant Mike's name, and it's gonna shake the heavens, one cousin said.
Two weeks after Michael Brown was gunned down by a police officer, thousands turned out Monday to bid him farewell.
And the anger over the way Brown died continued to smolder in the sanctuary of the St. Louis church as his cousins poured out their grief.
I still have anger in my heart, Bernard Ewing told the mourners. I still have revenge on my heart.
Another cousin, Cal Brown, said the slain 18-year-old was a kind, gentle guy.
One day he told his family the world would know his name," he said. He did not know he was offering up a divine prophecy.
Cousin Eric Davis said one day there will be justice for Brown.

You'd think a very very important official, head of state or ambassador died.
Maybe for the black community the likes of Michael Brown IS an important official or ambassador.
Meanwhile...
3 Killed, 2 Hurt in Pasadena Shooting
And this already appears to be old news - it's from this morning!!
Apparently welfare checks can talk now.
He was a living saint I hear.
Doubtful this kid ever went to church, and his parents more than likely never have also...I don't know that but it would fit the pattern of his life...
Hmmm, Charlie Mansion, and other murderers are household names....
Hey dad, I wish you were there to protect that little guy at the store from your son. The whole night would have ended differently.
I find it interesting that we haven’t heard from the shopkeeper whom “Mike Mike” stole from and then intimidated.
Lord knows, we’ve heard from everyone else.
I too am guessing this thug was well known to area businesses. If you choose to set up shot in such an area, you should know all the hazards that come with it - shoplifting, robbery, intimidation and general thuggery.
St. Michael of the Blunts??
He was an ADULT. Parents shouldn't have to protect them like fledglings. A good parent instills a proper moral code, respect, safety, and situational awareness for all of lifes unpleasant certainties.
I was such a pain in the butt when growing up that when I turned 18, my parents got me a birthday card that said, "Congratulations to both of us! You are an adult, and we are no longer legally responsible for you!"....followed by basic and AIT as a 19k.
And the names of Jesse Dirkhising and Brian Claunch go unknown and apparently no one cares about justice for them. Jesse was thirteen when he was brutally raped and murdered by two GAY men so he is unknown while we still hear about Matthew Shepard, the gay VICTIM of murder. Brian Claunch was forty five and was sitting in a wheel chair because he only had one arm and one leg and was in a rest home for the mentally impaired when he created some sort of disturbance and two police officers were called to the scene and one shot Mr. Claunch in the head and killed him because he supposedly had the other officer hemmed in a corner and was threatening the officer. Mr. Claunch, unlike “Big Mike” Brown WAS armed...with a ball point pen. We will hear the name of Mike Brown forever as we will hear the name Trayvon Martin forever. As we used to say here in Carolina, I will give you three guesses as to why you will never hear the name Brian Claunch mentioned and the first two don’t count. The name itself contains a hint of the reason and a look at a picture of Mr. Claunch reveals the reason at first glance.
After watching this, there goes ANOTHER generation of effed up black boys.
Welllllll......you COULD have taught him not to steal what was not his, not to do drugs, and not to try and kill a cop. It’s mostly in there in the Ten Commandments thing the liberals hounded out of the schools. Oh, and your “pastors” should probably spend more time teaching God’s love, Christ’s sacrificial Grace, instead of “Blame Whitey”.
CNNs Jake Tapper addressed the presidents approach in a brief piece Wednesday afternoon. Checkpoint also looked into it, and was told by a national security official that the administration does not want to signal that the death of a general officer merited a different response that any other service members would. As a general matter, the official said, the White House wants it to be known that every loss of life is tragic.

This man, his family, and the black community are. Being lied to on a daily basis.
I feel for any family that looses a youth, OT any child. But that loss does not change the truth.
And you knw what?
As people find out what actually happened in Ferguson, that a large, black 18 year old who robbed a convince store and then physically assaulted and injured a police officer, who then had to shoot the kid as he charged him...versus the false narrative that an unarmed black teenager was wantonly gunned own by a racist white cop for walking in the street...of course their opinion is changing.
Sharpton, Jackon, Holder, Obma and ll their ilk will keep that truth from the African-Americn citizens of this nation for as long as they can.
Had he not been shot, his heating and air conditioning studies were still going to be delayed by his likely arrest and incarceration for strong-arm robbery.
Infamy is such a wonderful thing.
