Well, that was darned touching. ;-)

My wife won’t let me watch the two episodes with “Mrs. Reynolds”. :-P

Unbelievable that it died so quickly.

Not the level of Firefly, but Syfy’s Defiance is incredibly good.

Deadwood... agree with that.. many characters..all could have provided more episodes with more story arcs.

Rome.... same thing.. could have kept going and going..at least 5 seasons.

Forgot Hee Haw

I was just singing the initial strains of "Doom, despair, and agony on me. . ." last weekend to some friends, in response to some complaints.

Alien Nation.

I loved that show. Pity it only lasted a season.

I actually met Don Adams back in the 1980s. He starred in a bloody awful sitcom about a supermarket and was in Toronto every year to shoot a season’s worth.

We have it on DVD. It’s actually a greate movie from around 1980.

Yes. It was. Makepiece was the "star" but his career went nowhere. Baldwin is a favorite of mine. He's hilarious in the series "Chuck". That show is (was) a blast.

Twilight Zone could’ve gone on forever because it was more of an anthology than a series.

The multi cultural space marines of space above and beyond deserved a few more seasons. It was canceled just as it was getting interesting.

I would like to know how that one guy never had to get any kind of regulation haircut.

I never give out my age. Now here are the top programs I would NEVER have on the air again:

1)MASH
2)The Kardashians
3) All in the Family
4) Maude
5) Three’s Company
6) Happy Days
7) Kotter
8) That 70s Show
9) Fresh Prince of Bel Air
10) American Idol

For what’s it worth, here’s what I usually watch:

1) American Heroes Channel (Formerly the Military Channel)
2) Travel (Bizarre Foods)
3) Animal Planet (Finding Bigfoot)
4) Food Channel (Diners Drive Ins & Dives)
5) MeTV favorite reruns
6) TCM
7) FNC
8) History
9) Discovery
10) Nat Geo

I invoke the M*A*S*H Rule.....No show should run longer than the war it portrayed.

So much for my series on Grenada.

HAHAHA. I’m in a 55-65 music rock band. Every night, at the beginning of one set the guitar player and I will do one of the “Where oh where, are you tonight” routines. We stay as in character as humanly possible.

We’re working on the “Doom Despair” ones with a couple more band members. Crowd absolutely LOVES it.

Agreed. MASH was even longer than War & Peace.

The Simpsons, it’s starting season 26 next month.

Other than soaps, and news shows, is this the longest running TV show?

I think it may be unless you count Saturday Night Live?
