The MD Live Casino has issues with the IPs. Can’t imagine that the Ceasars management will put up with customers being harassed. The Harbor is not far away and non swimmers might have problems.

Yeah, the table stakes at MD Live are outrageous. I bet they don’t like the competition.

Taxes never go away, no matter what the politicians tell you.

That's not true. The telephone tax that was imposed to help pay for the Spanish American war in 1898 was finally repealed in 2006.

So, there's still hope.

Do these casinos check IDs when the customers try to enter?

That would be discrimination! Oh, wait... it's not the citizen's sacred duty of voting. It's voluntarily throwing money down a rathole. For that, you need ID.

Was there another major flood over Johnstown? The famous one was 1889. Unless you mean taxes went on even longer!

My native Marylander spouse speakss of the days of Baltimore’s Mayor, Tommy D’Alesandro, Sr., when an African-American dared not enter Little Italy unless s/he had a job to do and left when the job was done, lest said AA enjoyed the harbor waters, ‘cause they sure as hell weren’t getting out of there alive. Tommy’s little girl went on to become the first female Speaker of the House. How sweet is that?

They never should have put it at a shopping mall in the first place.
