LOL. I have a theory that the higher ranked and better a team is, the more they look the other way. OSU and Gundy are certainly not pure, but OU openly invited a criminal onto the team. A criminal that Missouri dismissed from their team. Ethics in college sports has given away to big money. I doubt that any program in the top five conferences is squeaky clean.
I’m just about done with College Football.
All of that money has totally ruined it. The tradition and pomp and pageantry that made it what it is, has given way, as it basically is now the farm system for the NFL.
That is understandable. The last few years I have found myself less and less interested in college football. In July I start to feel the excitement of a new season, but soon after I read about guys like Josh Shaw and that excitement is lost. When checking the price of tickets even more enthusiasm is lost.
Another case of: you can take the thug out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the thug.
