BLAZE ^ | August 30, 2014 | Mike Opelka

Posted on 08/30/2014 11:02:50 AM PDT by SWAMPSNIPER

A mom telling her two children she was pregnant drew an unexpected reaction: rather than being excited about being a big brother again, the little boy burst out, “What were you thinking?” and “You just had two! This is exasperating.”

I guarantee you...when my wife and I were making the kids, we were NOT thinking at all.

They do if the parents use the word a lot, as in “you’re just exasperating!”

What are you talking about?

From that video it looks like the family is making good money.

Do you have some warped notion that 3 kids is too large a family?

Where do you come up with that nonsense?

Since when is 3 kids “prolific”??

And how do you suppose she’s making money from the video?

I agree.

Kids that age don’t even know what “exasperating” means.

Hell, most kids in high school don’t either!

I think he was just being an over-dramatic 5-year-old. My kids said some real gems when they were that age and have turned out just fine.

Yup, no telling what's been retained in the little tape recorders inside their heads. My sister, about that age, made up a story about a crab and used the word "obnoxious" in it. Nobody knew where she'd heard that word.

And I agree ... I think the kid's smarter than his mother.

That looked so rehearsed....not at all spontaneous.

It did look rehearsed, but that kid is born performer. Perfect delivery of his lines. He reminds me of a young Chris Rock.

I was telling my son the facts of life when he was eight. When I got to the details he put his hand up and said “stop, I don’t want to hear any more right now.” That night he disgustingly said to his mom “you let dad do that to you FOUR times?!”

the little boy burst out, “What were you thinking?” and “You just had two! This is exasperating.”

He'll be stubborn, argumentative, and an oppositional pain in the butt in a few years.

Kids that age don’t even know what “exasperating” means.

On the contrary, my kids had a vocabulary that used words like that because we didn't talk baby talk to them.

When my oldest daughter was 5 she used the word *prehensile* in a conversation with the nurse at the doctors office, and she used it correctly.

The nurses eyes got really big and she just nodded.
