The league has come under fire for its handling of former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice’s assault of his then-fiancée. The Minnesota Vikings have also been criticized for allowing Adrian Peterson to play while he faces a charge of abuse for spanking his 4-year-old son with a wooden switch. …

Didn’t RGIII just get told he couldn’t wear a Jesus shirt anymore?

This is the reason that bad things are happening in the NFL. Good influences are being purged. Just like Tony Dungy.

Alcohol plays a role in an overwhelming majority of domestic violence cases, Busch should come out with a new brand; wifebeater.

“Wifebeater beer...drink like the pros.”

Too much strutting, skipping and prancing between each play. Real men make the play, get up and line up. 60’s football wasn’t this way and some of those guys were real roughnecks and partiers.

US Bank is local and sponsors the Vikequeens, but I doubt they'll pull their sponsorship.

If all felons were banned from Congress, just think how few ‘representatives’ we'd have!

The beer giant issued a statement on Tuesday saying it was “disappointed and increasingly concerned” by recent incidents and was not yet satisfied with the league's response. It said it had shared its concerns and expectations with the NFL.

Sounds reasonable.

No one did it back then because they didn’t want to get crippled by other players self policing them for their extreme jerkitude. Now the cool players can’t police the jerks, even if they wanted to, which I doubt. Modern officiating, a million camera angles, each game meaning so much doesn’t allow it.

Freegards

Plenty of domestic violence among non-drinking Muslims.

but does decapitation really count as violence? It's merely a muslim ritual......

Does Bush fire all their employees that are arrested for Domestic Violence?

I wonder the same thing? And without being found guilty in a court of law?

“Does Bush fire all their employees that are arrested for Domestic Violence?”

Bush employee commits murder, goes to jail.

NFL star commits murder, he becomes a TV analyst ....

Below are the directors of the current Imbev board. They are the boys currently whining about “they don’t appreciate what the NFL is doing”. I don’t like the NFL anymore but I sure don’t like these Belgians, Brazilians and Germans telling such an iconic American INDUSTRY (the NFL) what to do. On his way out the door Roger G. would make a lot of friends if he told em all to FO! Of course he won’t.

Corporate governance[edit]

Brazilian Carlos Brito is the current chief executive officer. Brito replaced John Brock at the end of 2005.[17] InBev’s current Board of Directors include Allan Chapin, Carlos Alberto da Veiga Sicupira, Arnoud de Pret Roose de Calesberg, Jean-Luc Dehaene, Philippe de Spoelberch, Jorge Paulo Lemann, Roberto Moses Thompson Motta, Kees J. Storm, and Peter Harf (chairman of the Board).
