Yeah, but I really enjoyed hearing him give it to Code Pink about not recognizing and opposing ISIL’s abuse of women. That was entertaining. Watching a prominent Democrat and former presidential candidate call out a bunch of liberal women for putting their anti-war rhetoric above the condemnation of violence against women is beautiful.
Things change, don’t they, Sec. Kerry, when you get an up-close-and-personal look at radical Islam? It must be seething humiliation for him to have to face the fact - every single day on the job - that Bush & Cheney were right about the threat of radical Islam.
I’ve known a lot of guys who served in Vietnam, and they rarely mention it. My now ex-brother in law was a Green Beret sergeant, in country from February of 1969 to March of 1970.I know he saw heavy combat. I spent a lot of time around him, and even lived with him for 3 years. In all that time, he might have mentioned Vietnam twice.
Ditto with my uncle. Served in Vietnam. Saw action. Never talked about it.
One of the rare times Corker’s made me proud. I guess I should send him an “attaboy” email for this one. I usually raise heck in emails to him and have been harsh on this idea of arming the Syrian “rebels”. We’ve seen the videos here of FSA members swearing allegiance to AQ. And I’ve sent links to those videos to Corker.
How do you know that those committee members are not extremely impressed with his presentation?
