“What did Jane Goodall say?”

Chimpanzees live peaceful lives unmarred by violence and jealousy, they cooperate and share everything. Among other things. This went on until she got some help from other scientists, who reported that chimps will form groups that will stalk and kill one of their own, and they will also torture their fellow chimps. Jane blamed this sudden change in chimp behavior on an ecological upset plus the addition of more humans.

Jane was sort of implying that chimps lived in a simple peaceful socialist society, but once others got a look that rubric failed.

She did a lot of great research, but I think sometimes a bias showed through.
