I have often experienced that same reaction upon seeing my image in the mirror. : D

I'm surprised. My cats don't recognize themselves in a mirror. However, they seem to think that I'm a big cat.

That breed of cat always looks surprised. Dumb video. Total waste of time.

My one cat will sit in one room and spy on me via the mirror in the next room. I mean, she’s watching me in the mirror. First time I caught her doing that I was a little freaked out.

I saw a cartoon recently that showed people entering a large museum in New York City.

It was the Metropolitan Museum of Cat Videos.

Thinking she was spying on me, a cat I used to have would watch my reflection in mirrors.

Another cat would lose herself in mirrors like she was in some fantasyland.

They do have their quirks, don’t they?

Hmmm, getting some ideas for kitty torment...

Thank you for the ping and post.

It’s taking me a long time to type this because Lucas Prince of Darkness is trying to play footsie with my left hand.

With his cold, wet nose.

Great OP, Perdogg. I laughed.

Misty does the same thing to me. Flattering, but makes it hard to be productive.

Now he’s sulking because I had the outlandish gall to complain and put him (gently) on the floor.

At least he’s drinking his Real Water, ever since the vet told us his kidneys were beginning to go.
I hope he lasts at least as long as my Rocket did after he was diagnosed with kidney failure.
Rocky lived for three years past his “death sentence” with Real Water and subcutaneous fluids
for hydration and electrolytes.
