I will post a link tomorrow and every day until TC comes back for the daily kitty.
I hope this is ok.
Meanwhile I’ll figure out how to post a picture, it will give me something to do. Maybe I might even be able to do it. :)

When you get a chance to relax and sit down for a moment, here's something I think you might reflect on.
It's not a traditional statement of solace or condolence, but reads to me more like the kind of message someone might send back as a means of comfort.
I'd like to think your father would agree with this sentiment:
The Hours I Keep
My life is filled with treasures,
Rainbows, sunsets, lovely flowers,
Each I see as one more gift,
To set among my trove of hours.
Minutes stolen here and there,
Pondering the ways,
Glimpses of a bright tomorrow,
Mounting up to days.
Times Ive taken stock of things,
Reckon Ive done well.
Interest paid on gathered scents,
A fortune when I sell.
There will be an accounting,
Before my final sleep,
In minutes Ive recorded for,
The hours that I keep.

I have a laser mouse, I think of it as the Eye of Locutus

I returned from a last minute beat-the-snow-and-get-stuff-for-Thanksgiving road trip and read the news of your Father's passing. I am so sorry. My prayers are with you, your Mother, and your family through this time.
I also note that your internet access is down. No reply is necessary...

As long as you can locatus the laser mouse every time you put it down, you are in good shape.

Laser mice, and optical mice in general, no longer require contact with a surface to move a wheel which feeds input to the mouse position.
The optical mouse orients itself to the patterned background over which it moves. In theory, one could use it on an air-hockey table, where it would not encounter a surface at all.
In the case of a laser mouse then, resistance is futile.

yes, resistance is futile and no longer tactile, except for the scroll wheel.

In the year (or post) 2929,
Everything is gonna be just fine,
Your laser works, your mouse does too,
Simple eye contact will be doing that for you ...

Yes, it would be better if it glowed in the dark so I wouldn’t have to massage half the table to find it in the dark

If I had no mouse I would have a problem since the arrow keys, question mark and last letter of the alphabet do not work on the keyboard.

Definitely gives you a problem doing the control-z shortcut key ...
Every been filling out a form, reading a paperback or hard cover book and tried to go backwards by wanting to ctrl-z the page ......

You may want to retreat in horror at learning this, but I don’t use Control Z.
Is that the magic application that corrects all your letters after you accidentally enter a line with the caps reversed?
