All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:

That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

Seems Darksheare is having issues with his electronica due to voltage spikes from snow laden trees interacting with power lines. His UPS isn't being uninterruptible. Which makes his computing device cold dump. Which has the propensity to scramble Windoze. So he is not online. And the snow is still falling. Rapidly.

Options are being explored...

With vague regret, mostly. The ones born here (James and younger) had rarely seen him. The older ones had all been to Missouri, but won’t remember too much unless we all talk it over, which I couldn’t do right now without having an inconvenient meltdown.

I haven’t been in two months but I’ve been to the doctor, and depending on the scale I’ve lost between 25-30 lbs.

I can’t go to a meeting because its a hassle bringing the oxygen and everything, so my sister arranged for them to take the monthly fee from my credit card.

I’m not allowed to cook so I’m pretty much living on their TV dinners, besides fruit and salad, and cold cereal and beverages.

You can’t use a stove on oxygen or Marvin won’t be the only thing going kaboom.

Speaking of Weight Watchers, today was Weigh Day, and the scales didn’t move in either direction. I guess, in a way, that’s good, because I didn’t gain, but getting these next 10 pounds off is going to be a work in progress. I hope I feel up to walking again, soon.
