Besides combat, what’s happening in northern Syria around the town of Kobani offers some interesting indications about the nature of the conflict with ISIS amid the Muslim world.
I’m glad to see some dedicated U.S. air strikes in that area, but ISIS reinforcements are pouring in and the Kurdish forces aren’t receiving much in the way of supplies or weapons support. But what I find most interesting are the pictures of the Turkish Army tanks just sitting on a hilltop taking it all in – as interested bystanders.
Furthermore, we know the Turks are now bombing the Kurdish people in Turkey itself who are protesting this abhorrent inaction. On several occasions we’ve written about Turkey’s actions — namely those of Recip Tayyip Erdogan.
However, I came across a piece that well defines not just Turkey’s recalcitrance to deal with ISIS — but that of the Islamic world itself.

This is exactly what the Sunnis want. They need a force to counter Iran (Shia Persians). Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, & Bahrain all give large sums of money stocked b Sharia Banking to groups like ISIS to come in and destroy those areas with the belief that one day ISIS will not come for their throats....amazing mentality - but then again - it corrupted with outdated social and customary laws that have no place in today’s world and there are people out there that think they can really coexist with moslems...ask the news reporters that were captured how peaceful Islam is?
It’s about control and who controls it — Shia vs Sunni vs Kurds vs Wahhabi vs Turk vs etc...some major faction of Islam will always produce violence and those caught in the middle will be murdered, raped, or sold into slavery!
So, both Israel and America are muslim nations. In fact, all the nations of the world are muslim nations except for Antarctica.

Well, i read an article 2 days ago where it said Erdogan is not only refusing to help YPG & maintains PKK is a terrorist grp, he is now saying ALL Kurds are terrorists! After Turkey killing the Kurds (civilians before PKK for example was formed) for decades, and Erdogan’s regime helping ISIS, i wonder who the real terrorist is..

The PKK is a Communist terrorist group and was so long before Turkey went islamist. They terrorized their fellow Turkish Kurds into appearing to support their goal of a Communist Kurdish state in Turkish Kurdistan.
Soviet client state Syria was a big supporter of the PKK back in the day. That might have something to do with Turkish hostility to Assad Syria. But no doubt whatsoever that Erdogan is an enemy.
Lord Foul would say America, since he seems to think we are a muslin country.
