The problem with the Chinese immigrants are that they are dirty. No one said they were not hard-working. But they are very, very dirty in their habits. Sorry to bring that to your attention.

Plus, they are not that polite. Try getting your laundry back from them when your husband’s name is on the receipt - not yours.

Thanks for the recipe help, cloudie! Neither the Chinese or Japanese can approach the West for dessert. Not Indians, either. Only the British, French, Italians, Germans, et al can touch us with desserts. Or, I speak, as an unashamedly Westerner.
I love “Fargo”. For me, it’s right up there with “Godfather”, “Godfather II”, and “Goodfellas”. A modern morality play.

*The Chinese don't assimilate. They NEVER, or almost never, marry outside their race. They TRULY believe in their racial superiority.

1. their families are always INTACT;
2. their families will always take care of them;
3. everyone works and money is 50% given to the parents and 50% for college education (even if the student doesn't want to go to college or isn't smart enough for college). They are NOT all smart and not all want to work or go to college. They are like everyone else on the planet except they have round nostrils and a FILTH-RIDDEN culture.
***The Chinese commit as much crime as anyone else does, only it's localized against OTHER Chinese. Chinese won't go to the U.S. police, even Chinese police officers. The Chinese police officers are 100% Americanized and don't have the sympathy they might have if they had been Chinese-born, so the CIAs and FOBs will NOT go to the police if they have crime problems.
****The Chinese also have a SEVERE gambling problem.
Former Mayor Willie Brown wanted to make Alcatraz a gambling casino...not a bad idea. The CHINESE community shut him down because of its community's problem with gambling.
The Chinese (NOT American-born Chinese) believe in ONLY two things:
1. LUCK
and
2. MONEY.

The world is filled with beautiful food. But the West knows how to present sweets - in keeping it within bounds. The Italians are very wise in this. Japanese, Chinese, Indian sweets are disgustingly sweet, sadly.
Koreans use MSG too. I think they knows its not good for them but sometimes you just need to use the shaker of MSG
